Q: I have heard that it is bad to eat some fish. Is this true?

Q: I have heard that it is bad to eat some fish. Is this true?A: Yes, it is bad to eat some seafood, but for two different reasons. One reason is that certain types of seafood are bad for the environment. The other reason is that some types are bad for you in a health sense. Some fish are high in mercury or PCBs… things that you definitely do not want in your body, especially if you are pregnant. To find out more, you should check out www.oceansalive.org. Be aware the lists of best and worse fish can and does change. Seafood is added and removed relatively often.
